Set up in March 2015, Limelight Hairdressing aims to offer our clients a salon experience like no other, positioned in the historical town of Clitheroe we pride ourselves in providing ethical and sustainable hairdressing, establishing ourselves as being the first ‘Davines Multi Space Salon’ in the Ribble Valley we offer top rate hairdressing using the latest techniques.
Customer service is of upmost importance to us we want you to feel relaxed, comfortable and confident in a friendly and professional atmosphere. Free car parking is available.

NICOLA
Nicola Holloway is the director of Limelight Hairdressing and has been in the industry for 20 years and with a wealth of experience behind her she is accomplished in all aspects of hairdressing, including precision and fashion cuts and has a keen eye for detail, being the proud holder of a Colour Specialist Degree Nicola specialises in colour and balayage and has trained with L’oreal, Tony and Guy, Ky Wilson and Jack Howard to name but a few, so with her in depth knowledge in all aspects of creative and technical colouring Nicola can provide you with the expertise you expect.
SARAH
Wedding specialist and senior stylist Sarah has been trained in house to a very high standard. Competent in all aspects of hairdressing she is a very passionate young stylist who’s talent and skills are way in advance of her experience, with a flair and natural gift for pin-ups and bridal hair Sarah can plait, curl and tease your tresses for any occasion.
ABID
Senior stylist Abid has been hairdressing for over 15 years, he is Richard Ward trained and has worked in top London salons Cobella and Daniel Galvin as creative director before relocating to Clitheroe, he exclusively specialises in cutting and styling.
Sophie
Sophie is our graduate stylist and is working towards her level 3 in hairdressing, she is already proving to be a talented stylist, enjoy discounted prices with Sophie whilst she builds her confidence and gains experience.
LIBBY
Libby is working towards qualifying as a stylist, bubbly and passionate about all things hair, she’s one to watch!

BALAYAGE – ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
It’s the colouring technique loved by the A-listers and is fast becoming the most asked about service we offer.
‘Balayage is a French word meaning to sweep or to paint, we use a freehand painting technique to create soft natural highlights or we can create a strong, dramatic look that is best to compliment your haircut, skin tone and features so it’s totally bespoke to you.
It’s also a very low maintenance and economical way to colour your hair as it has softer, less noticeable regrowth lines than traditional highlights, there’s no stripy look or solid demarcation line that you can get with foil highlights, many of our clients can go 4 to 6 months between full balayage appointments with just a re-fresh every 6-8 weeks.

KERATIN COMPLEX
Keratin Complex is the worlds leading smoothing system. It uses signature keratin that is ethically and sustainably sourced from sheep wool. .Keratin Complex’s revolutionary technology does not break the hair’s bonds, instead delivering the versatility of smoother, healthier-looking hair that can be styled wavy or straight as desired.
The treatment also increases levels of cysteine, an essential amino acid found in keratin. This sulphur-containing amino acid is required for the disulphide bridges within the hair structure that give the hair additional strength and rigidity. Unlike other keratin treatments, Keratin Complex avoids the use of formaldehyde by using glycolic acid to soften the cuticle in order to to push the treatment deeper within the hair structure.
EXPRESS BLOW OUT This reduces the curl level by 3, straightens and reduces the hairs natural volume. It takes around 45 minutes and lasts up to 9 weeks.
INTELLIGENT BLOW DRY This also reduces the curl level by 3 but leaves the hair with body and movement, giving the client the option to have a bouncy and voluminous style whilst also improving manageability. This treatment takes around 3 hours and lasts up to 12 weeks.
